Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Holly.
If you're here, there's a good chance life didn't unfold the way you expected. Maybe someone you love was diagnosed with an illness. Maybe you're suddenly juggling appointments, medications, family dynamics, work, and a hundred questions no one seems to have answered.
I know that feeling.
My caregiving journey began when my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Years later, I found myself walking that road again as my mom lived with dementia. Different stories. The same overwhelming reality: caregivers are expected to figure out an incredibly complex job with almost no guidance.
Those experiences changed the course of my life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, grief specialist, and end-of-life doula, I've spent years helping individuals and families navigate serious illness, loss, trauma, anxiety, and life's hardest transitions. Along the way, I realized caregivers don't need more generic advice—they need practical tools, honest guidance, and someone who truly understands what they're carrying.
That's why I created Wellness in Caregiving.
Everything you'll find here is something I wish someone had handed me when my journey began—roadmaps, checklists, worksheets, articles, and real-world guidance designed to help you feel more confident and less alone.
My hope is simple: that you spend less time searching for answers, more time feeling supported, and that caregiving changes your life without costing you yourself.
I'm so glad you're here.
